For some reason I'm in a blogging state of mind: returning to Buffy...

No one (meaning my parents or sisters) seem to recall what really happened to the second litter of Buffy.  She had 4 kittens and one was a calico, a female we called "Marmalade."  Our grandmother, Dorothea Tellis Hackett told us that only calico cats could have calico kittens, but Buffy one-up'd our grandmother with Marmalade...nothing worse than proving Gram wrong with her statements.
