Colin Firth redeems himself: he is an outstanding actor!

Just finished "Valmont" starring Annette Bening and Colin Firth, filmed in 1989 about lives of the French aristocracy, based on Les Liaisons dangereuses (Dangerous Liaisons), a novel written by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos in 1782.  Firth did a great job playing the villian, he dies in the end, nothing ends up right, pretty much for everyone.
